Construction Inspectors Aide

What Your Day Will Look Like:

We are seeking a CEI Inspector Aide in our Vero Beach, FL office. As a CEI Inspectors Aide, you will assist CEI Inspectors or CEI Senior Inspectors in all aspects of daily pre-event work which includes various debris inspection duties to ensure quality control and contractor compliance for debris removal.

What You'll Do:

• Assists with inspections and monitors assigned field work activities on a pre-event project to ensure conformance to plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
• Coordinates work and inspections with contractors representative as required by higher-level inspectors.
• In guidance with senior inspector, checks lines, grades, dimensions and elevations using standard field measuring equipment.
• Ensures that highways, work zones, and traffic control setups conform to contract requirements.
• Assists with tests and/or samples materials.
• Assists in project administrator or senior inspectors meetings.

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experienc.
• Required to have and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Moderate or intermediate computer skills.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Able to follow simple technical instructions.
• Adequately trained on Debris Operations. (We will provide the training)
