Job Title: Lead Meister Plumber

Department: Base Operations

Job Summary:
We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and certified Lead Meister Plumber to supervise and lead our plumbing team. The ideal candidate will be a master tradesperson with extensive experience in all aspects of the plumbing trade, from complex system installations to diagnostics and repair. This role requires not only superior hands-on skills but also proven leadership ability to manage projects, mentor a team, and ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of plumbers, delegating tasks, providing technical guidance, and fostering a productive and safe work environment.

Project Management: Plan, organize, and manage plumbing projects from start to finish. This includes reading and interpreting blueprints and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Plumbing Expertise: Perform and oversee all phases of plumbing work, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes, fixtures, drainage systems, and water distribution systems.

Quality Control: Conduct detailed inspections of all plumbing work to ensure it meets all national and local plumbing codes, as well as company standards.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring the team uses proper PPE and safe work practices at all times.

Training: Provide hands-on training and skill development for junior plumbers and apprentices.

Desired Qualifications:

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A Meisterbrief or an equivalent advanced certification in plumbing is highly desirable.

Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of professional plumbing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Technical Skills: Mastery of all plumbing tools, equipment, and techniques. Deep knowledge of plumbing systems and a strong understanding of all applicable plumbing codes.

Leadership: Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills. The ability to manage people, projects, and resources effectively.

Certification: A valid driver's license and an active plumber's license are required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Requires the ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.

Must be able to work in diverse conditions, including exposure to loud noise, dust, fumes, and all types of weather.
