Safety Manager (commercial construction)

The Safety Director will oversee company-wide safety initiatives, ensure compliance with OSHA and internal standards, and provide strategic leadership to improve and maintain safe working conditions across all project sites.

• Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of comprehensive safety programs and protocols.
• Conduct regular job site audits and inspections to ensure OSHA compliance and promote safe practices.
• Partner with project teams to proactively identify hazards and support job-specific safety planning.
• Deliver training programs for superintendents, foremen, and trades to reinforce safety culture.
• Manage incident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Serve as the internal safety resource for all field and office personnel.
• Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes to inform internal safety policy updates.

• 5+ years of experience in construction safety; commercial construction experience required.
• OSHA 500-510-required!
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, ANSI, and local/state regulations.
• Proven ability to influence and lead safety culture on active job sites.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
