Welder

Overview: Seeking a skilled Fitter/Welder with hands-on experience working with large components in a heavy industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fitting and welding on large assemblies using 3/32" flux core or .045/.052" solid wire.

• Interpret and work from blueprints, with full comprehension of welding symbols.

• Safely move and position heavy parts using overhead cranes.

• Complete layout, tack, and final welds on thick plate materials.

• Work safely at heights and in confined areas as needed.

Qualifications:

• Solid background in heavy plate fabrication.

• Proficient in FCAW and GMAW welding processes.

• Strong ability to read and interpret weld symbols.

• Experienced in crane operation and handling oversized components.

• Comfortable working in elevated locations and tight spaces.
