Transportation Project Manager
Job Description

Join a growing engineering firm in the Twin Cities as a Transportation Project Manager. This role involves managing diverse projects from inception to completion, developing and nurturing client relationships, and overseeing the scope, schedule, and budget for each project. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to business development efforts and grow the transportation division locally.

Responsibilities

  • Create the scope of work, develop schedules, and establish fees for projects.
  • Coordinate with production leaders and teams to meet project requirements.
  • Develop project work plans for production teams.
  • Prepare proposals for RFPs and projects, and present them to clients.
  • Meet with clients to understand project needs and scope of work.
  • Manage financial aspects of projects and assist in securing project funding.
  • Collaborate with leadership to review project scope, schedule, fees, profitability, billing, and collections.
Essential Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in transportation and civil engineering.
  • 1+ years of experience in project management.
  • Experience with civil design and Microstation software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in business development and client interaction.
  • Previous project management experience.
Work Environment

The Plymouth office houses approximately 25 professionals across various disciplines, including seven other Project Managers and technical experts. The Transportation Project Manager will report to the transportation leader located in Bemidji and should be comfortable working independently. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
