Job Title: Project Engineer
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow within the industry while contributing to the successful delivery of complex electrical systems. The Project Engineer will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to ensure technical accuracy, timely procurement, and smooth project workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules and budgets
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment
- Track and manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Support field operations with technical documentation and issue resolution
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate communication
- Maintain organized project documentation and assist with closeout procedures
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in electrical construction or engineering
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
- Familiarity with NEC codes and California building standards
- Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, or similar software is a plus
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
