Jr Electro-Mechanical Technician

Essential Functions:

1. Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain electrical/electronic equipment used in production or other related services, maximizing production time and minimizing down time.

1. Troubleshoot electrical/electronic/PLC equipment malfunctions or operating problems and make repairs or adjustments as necessary to keep equipment in production.

1. Perform various activities related to the installation and relocation of existing machines and equipment which may involve electrical wiring, electrical components or electronic instrumentation.

1. Perform mechanical duties as required to support upgrades, new installations, and repairs

1. Perform preproduction line trials. Work includes – Set-up, operation, data collection, clean up.

1. Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork, records, documents, etc.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Understand and comply with all safety/work rules and regulations and maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

1. Other duties, as assigned.
