Lets go to work . . . Im needing a Mechanical Design Engineer in Erie, PA. Successful candidate will be responsible for the structural design of industrial high voltage cabinets - sheet metal fabrications used to house high voltage electrical equipment used in the propulsion system of mining vehicles and locomotives.
Additional duties will be:
Designing mechanical enclosures for electrical equipment assemblies for shock and vibration loads.
- Design of sheet metal fabrications.
- Designing cast and molded components.
- Design of machined and fabricated components.
- GD&T and weld specifications on drawings.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
- 5+ years demonstrated experience in the field of electrical mechanical packaging and thermal design.
**- Strong NX, Ansys Workbench experience**
Long term, **onsite** , contract assignment in Erie, PA. Pay Rate is $55.00 to $65.00 per hour.
