Summary
Uses Computer Aided Design (CAD) software to design electro-mechanical packaging for our products. Creates clear, and accurate component and assembly drawings to aide in the build of those products.

- Utilize knowledge of MIL Specifications, ANSI drawing standards, and geometric tolerancing to complete drawings
- Makes adjustments or necessary changes to drawings as required
- Analyzes engineering sketches, specifications, and customer drawings to determine design factors such as size, shape and arrangement of parts
- Uses Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) software, specifically PTC Creo and AutoCAD.
- Interacts with customers, and vendors
- Deciphers redline changes made to drawings and incorporates those changes into designs
- Uses the Intuitive Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) program to create bill of materials, and to control configuration of products
- Creates and processes Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
- Makes copies of appropriate documents, and maintains information regarding change orders or adjustments to the product
- Utilizes various tools, assembly processes, and test equipment
- May write manufacturing control records, process sheets and acceptance test procedures
