About You
We're seeking a resulted-focused, innovative, self-driven, and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as an Electrical Design Engineer. In this role, you will design and develop embedded electrical systems and firmware for UV curing equipment by executing electrical and firmware design tasks, advancing project deliverables, and ensuring quality, manufacturability, and compliance throughout the product lifecycle
You will:
- Deliver robust electrical and firmware solutions by independently managing assigned design tasks, contributing to larger development projects, and producing functional systems that meet performance, timing, and cost targets
- Advance circuit and embedded system design by selecting and simulating components, designing analog/digital circuits, and developing embedded code for microcontroller-based platforms used in UV curing equipment.
- Ensure design validation and compliance by planning and executing engineering analysis and lab testing for thermal performance, noise filtering, and regulatory compliance, including CE, EMI/EMC, and UL/CSA standards
- Produce and maintain engineering documentation by generating schematics, test plans, technical specifications, and design verification reports that satisfy internal quality standards and Design History File (DHF) requirements.
- Collaborate across the product development lifecycle by engaging with cross-functional peers to refine system requirements, resolve technical challenges, and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and outcomes.
- Resolve technical issues in production and field by analyzing field failures, coordinating with QA and Production teams, and implementing design improvements or alternate components to ensure performance continuity.
- Apply best practices in manufacturability and component design by designing PCBs and cable assemblies for efficient production, maintaining part libraries, and aligning designs with standard documentation and PDM protocols.
- Advance engineering documentation standards and design traceability by developing structured, audit-ready documentation practices, implementing standard templates and version controls, and providing validations from design concept to product release.
