About the role

As a Reinsurance Business Architect you will make an impact leading the design and implementation of Duck Creek's configurable products You will work collaboratively with Managers, team members and clients.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze and document current-state P&C processes (reinsurance, policy administration, and rating) for clients transitioning to Duck Creek platforms.
  • Develop business architecture deliverables, including process models, capability maps, value streams, and requirements tailored to Duck Creek Reinsurance. Policy and/or Rating systems
  • Engage with P&C client stakeholders to gather requirements, validate Duck Creek configurations, and secure buy-in.
  • Collaborate with technical and application architects to map business requirements to OOTB features, reducing custom code and leveraging Duck Creek proprietary tools.
  • Partner with change management teams to develop training materials and adoption strategies for Duck Creek systems, ensuring smooth user transitions.
  • Advise clients on leveraging Duck Creek's cloud-based, low-code platform to accelerate product launches, streamline workflows, and enhance digital customer experiences.

Up to 50% travel is required.

What you need to have to be considered

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Duck Creek Technologies' platforms (Reinsurance, Policy, Billing, Claims, and/or Rating) in transformation programs.
  • Proven success in delivering Duck Creek implementations for P&C insurers, preferably in a consulting or client-facing role.
  • Familiarity with IT consulting and transformation projects, including data migration and system integration.
  • Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in business process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio, ARIS) and familiarity with Duck Creek's configuration tools.

o Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g., APIs, SOAP, REST) and data migration strategies for Duck Creek implementations.

These will help you stand out

  • Duck Creek-specific Business Analyst certifications (e.g., Duck Creek Reinsurance, Duck Creek Policy).
  • Business architecture certifications (e.g., CBAP).
  • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, SAFe).

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $150k- $200K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
