Welder Job Description We are seeking a skilled Welder with expertise in MIG and TIG welding to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fitting, with a strong emphasis on precision and quality. This role requires proficiency in welding carbon steel and stainless steel, as well as the ability to pass a MIG/TIG weld test. Responsibilities Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel. Ensure all welds meet the required specifications and standards. Read and interpret blueprints to understand job specifications. Demonstrate strong fitting skills to ensure precision in welding tasks. Perform fabrication and assembly of aluminum structures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals. Essential Skills Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding. Strong fitting skills (not to be confused with pipe fitting). Ability to pass a MIG/TIG weld test on carbon steel and stainless steel. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications Understanding of AWS Specs. Familiarity with D1.1 and D1.4 standards.
