Senior Superintendent - Industrial Projects
Location: Central Valley
Pay Range: $100,000 - $150,000 per year

About the Role
As a Senior Superintendent, you will run the jobsite from first shovel to final punch. You'll own the master schedule, coordinate subs, manage logistics, and ensure the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to Deacon's quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the full project schedule, including look-ahead and recovery plans
Direct daily field activities including labor, equipment, materials, and site logistics
Monitor subcontractor progress and ensure compliance with drawings and specs
Lead daily safety huddles and jobsite inspections, and enforce all safety protocols
Manage jobsite documentation such as RFIs, field reports, photos, and daily logs using Microsoft Office and Procore or PlanGrid
Coordinate with inspectors and agencies for testing, reporting, and compliance
Mentor project engineers, assistant superintendents, and foremen to build a strong site team
Track productivity, quantities, and labor needs, and forecast cost codes and equipment requirements
Resolve field issues quickly, whether related to weather, unforeseen conditions, or emergencies
Qualifications and Skills
10+ years of field experience, with significant leadership on ground-up industrial projects
Proven track record as the lead Superintendent on at least two $20M+ projects from start to finish
Strong understanding of construction methods, blueprints, and subcontract scopes
Advanced scheduling skills with experience using MS Project
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with tools like Procore or PlanGrid
Solid grasp of cost control, labor tracking, and basic construction accounting
Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills
OSHA 30 certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days
