Description
Design components or parts of functional systems for medical devices, science, or technology.
Apply engineering analysis and manufacturing practices for problem-solving in assigned projects.
Write and execute test protocols for prototypes and components.
Create and manage detailed product drawings.
Design test fixtures and systems and conduct validation for design verification testing.
Key Responsibilities
Design components and prototypes for medical devices and technology systems.
Apply engineering principles to solve issues in project assignments.
Develop and execute test protocols for component testing.
Create detailed product and component drawings.
Design and validate test systems for design verification.
Qualifications
BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of experience or MS in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years of experience.
Proficient in CAD software (proficiency in one preferred).
Experience in fixture/test systems design and validation for design verification testing.
1-2 years of experience in the medical device industry preferred.
Experience with injection molded or machined component design is a plus.
Experience with design of small assemblies and tolerance analysis is advantageous.
