Well established local Design-Build firm seeks assistant carpenter / laborer for work on residential construction jobsites - to be part of a team that values quality design and construction. Primary responsibilities and requirements of this position: Hours: 7:30am to 3:30pm Three Days A week. Prompt arrival each morning is a necessity. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug testing. Maintain orderly and safe job sites. Reliable, professional, and detail oriented. Problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently. Demolition and residential construction debris management. Positive, can-do attitude. Polite to homeowners and respectful of their homes. Assisting journeyman carpenter to perform carpentry duties of a wide variety. Willingness to be trained in basic carpentry skills; desire to improve. Additional Beneficial Skills: Some experience in these areas is a plus: Carpentry, Electrical, Drywall, Painting, Tile, Experienced use of tape measure Principals only.
