This is a hands-on role requiring a broad skill set across carpentry, light plumbing, minor electrical, fixture installation, and general finish work. Must be able to support the crew lead and perform clean, code-compliant work on occupied and unoccupied units. Responsibilities: Perform wood framing for in-ceiling HVAC installation Install backing/blocking for HVAC, plumbing, and wall support Complete general handyman tasks across multiple scopes Minor plumbing (fixture swaps, p-traps, angle stops) Minor electrical (light fixture install, outlet/switch replacement) Install cabinets, shelving, and wall-mounted hardware Support overall renovation workflow under project lead Maintain a clean, safe, and professional worksite Requirements: 5+ years of relevant handyman or remodel experience Skilled in light framing, basic plumbing/electrical, and fixture install Must have own tools and reliable transportation Ability to read and follow instructions from the site lead Comfortable working in occupied units and multi-family environments Able to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and navigate tight spaces Strong work ethic, punctual, and detail-oriented Nice to Have: Multi-family or apartment rehab experience Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience ($25-$30/hour) Consistent daytime work - no night shifts Opportunity for extended projects in the Houston area Work with a professional GC and experienced project lead How to Apply: Text or Call: ...
