Superintendent Location: St. Louis, Missouri Pay:$40-$53 per hour Per Diem: Negotiable Company Truck Provided Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Superintendent to lead and coordinate commercial construction projects, with a focus on retail and office build-outs. You will play a key role in developing and executing project schedules, ensuring clear communication across teams, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Your ability to interpret drawings, manage subcontractors, and document progress will be essential to project success. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage project schedules, including milestones and critical paths. Coordinate with project teams, owners, and architects to ensure alignment and timely execution. Oversee punch list completion in line with project timelines and client expectations. Interpret and distribute project drawings and specifications to all trades. Maintain daily logs and photo documentation of site progress. Adhere to company processes for reporting and risk mitigation. Essential Qualifications Proven experience in commercial construction, especially retail and office build-outs. Strong communication and documentation skills. Problem-solving ability in dynamic environments. Hands-on experience with finish carpentry, including millwork, doors, hardware, and specialties. Preferred Skills Background in tenant improvement and mid-sized commercial projects. Ability to build strong relationships with subcontractors. Experience with metal framing.
