The Field Crane Operatorwill operate a telescoping hydraulic crane engineered to sit atop a lattice tower structure. This position is responsible for working on water tower construction projects by transferring from one task to another where demands require worker with varied experience.
Essential Functions:
Lift, move, position, and place materials
Ability to work at heights
Rigging knowledge
Frequently climb ladders
Ability to routinely work away from home
Understanding of OSHA Part 1926
Non-Essential Functions:
Understanding of various forming systems and requirements
Rodbusting
Concrete finishing
Scaffolding and erection
Signaling of cranes and other construction equipment
Required Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum of 3 years of crane operation experience performing lifts in heavy construction environments
Must be able to travel frequently and work at heights
NCCCO Crane Operator Certification
