We are a premier flooring company in Texas, specializing in a broad assortment of carpeting, hardwood flooring, tile, granite, and area rugs. We are looking for a warehouse employee for our Amarillo, Texas location.
The position will work under the supervision and direction of the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for the daily functions of the department to effectively process products for shipments and will-calls.
Duties -
? Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly area(s)
? Keeps products organized and inventory rotated as necessary
? Processes paperwork necessary for transferring inventory to maintain proper inventory documentation
? Performs other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor and is flexible and adaptable to changes that will occur during the course of employment
? Maintain open communications with other departments, managers, and other company personnel.
Experience and skills preferred -
- 1 Year of warehouse experience or related experience working in similar industry.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
Education and Related Experience
High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
Special Qualifications
Forklift certification preferred.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Computer proficiency a must
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
Ability to stay a team player and meet deadlines.
Physical Demands and Work Conditions
Use of hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls (up to 100%)
Constant use of speaking and listening (up to 70%).
Occasional standing, walking, sitting, reach with hands and arms (up to 20%).
Occasional bending, reaching, stooping, pulling (up to 20%).
