Responsibilities
-Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools essential for mechanical maintenance.
-Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues in heavy industrial materials handling systems.
-Equipment such as conveyors, elevators, and pneumatic systems is highly valued.
-Strong computer aptitude, particularly in a mobile device environment, for entering work details.
-Strong communication skills are also vital for effective collaboration with the maintenance staff and operations departments.
Qualifications
-Must be a registered 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice.
- 2+ years of experience in an industrial plant setting is preferred.
-Strong understanding of the maintenance requirements of heavy industrial materials handling systems.
-Proven track record of adhering to safety protocols and an exceptional safety record are non-negotiable.
-Excellent troubleshooting abilities and a commitment to quality workmanship.
-The role requires the physical ability to perform duties in various conditions and environments, as well as a willingness to participate in all provided training requirements.
