Forklift Operator**
**Job Description**
In this role, you will primarily be responsible for driving rough terrain forklifts and occasionally operating other equipment such as warehouse forklifts, front end loaders, skidsteers, and yard dogs. Initially, you will work as a yard person, with opportunities to take on additional tasks like materials inventory and product assembly. You will learn to manage inventory by tracking material levels, notifying management when orders are necessary, and handling the receipt and storage of materials.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate rough terrain forklifts and other equipment including warehouse forklifts, front end loaders, skidsteers, and yard dogs.
+ Manage materials inventory by learning the stock list, tracking levels, and notifying management for orders.
+ Take care of receiving materials and storing them appropriately.
+ Participate in product assembly tasks.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ year of experience with rough terrain forklifts.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in inventory management and product assembly tasks is advantageous.

**Work Environment**
Start your day at 6 AM, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays included. Workdays range from 8 to 12 hours, depending on task completion. You will be part of a team consisting of 30 employees, including one supervisor and five leads. The workspace resembles a construction site within a warehouse, featuring heavy machinery, three overhead cranes, and four open garage doors for ventilation. Be prepared for a dirty environment with temperatures ranging from 70 to 100 degrees.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
