Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Lead AV Installer//Carpenter located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Lead AV Installer//Carpenter will oversee the installation and construction of audio-visual systems, ensuring that all components are properly set up and calibrated. Day-to-day tasks include assembling audio systems, managing installation schedules, coordinating with team members, and troubleshooting technical issues. Additionally, the role involves customizing and fine-tuning AV equipment to meet client specifications and ensuring all installations adhere to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in installing and configuring audio-visual systems
• Experience in carpentry, including building custom AV installations and enclosures
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent project management and coordination skills
• Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Experience with acoustical consultation and noise abatement is a plus
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites within the San Francisco Bay Area
