Telecon esta buscando un Obrero de Construccion para unirse a nuestro equipo en crecimiento.

Este puesto esta basado en Tacoma, Washington y sus alrededores.

Se trata de una posicion a tiempo completo que ofrece un salario competitivo, ademas de lo siguiente:

TENDRAS LA OPORTUNIDAD DE:

Operar una miniexcavadora y excavar alrededor de servicios publicos activos
Cargar y descargar equipos pesados de manera segura y sin danos
Transportar carga y/o equipo utilizando diferentes combinaciones de camiones y remorques
Completar las inspecciones diarias del vehiculo (antes, durante y despues del viaje)
Llenar el libro de registro del conductor, asi como reportes de accidentes o incidentes
Mantener el vehiculo limpio y en orden (interior y exterior)
Excavar hoyos y zanjas, tirar cable
Operar herramientas y equipos y brindar apoyo al equipo segun sea necesario
Preparar y limpiar el sitio de trabajo segun indicaciones
Otras tareas segun se requiera

ESTE PUESTO ES PARA TI SI CUENTAS CON LAS SIGUIENTES HABILIDADES Y CUALIDADES:

2 a 3 anos de experiencia relacionada en la industria de la construccion o paisajismo
Licencia de conducir valida y buen historial de manejo
Experiencia previa operando una miniexcavadora para excavar y nivelar
Saber leer planos de servicios subterraneos es una ventaja
Capacidad para trabajar al aire libre en diferentes condiciones climaticas durante todo el ano
Buenas habilidades de comunicacion verbal y capacidad para trabajar en equipo
Capacidad para levantar de manera segura 23 kg (50 lbs)
Capacidad para hablar, leer y escribir en ingles
Buenas habilidades interpersonales y disposicion para trabajar en equipo
Compromiso demostrado con la salud y seguridad, y disposicion para recibir la capacitacion correspondiente segun los requisitos legales y del puesto
Disposicion para completar una verificacion de antecedentes penales en linea, segun los estandares de la empresa

Telecon is looking for energetic Construction Laborers to join our growing Civil Team! This position is based out of our yard in Tacoma, Washington.

Working under the supervision of the site Supervisor, the Laborer will assist the Civil Team with the installation of telecommunications infrastructure (buried cable, wire, or ducts) for various projects.

This is a full-time position which includes weekly pay, Benefits, 401K as well as opportunities for growth!

Pay Range: $20.00 - $28.00/Hour based on experience.

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO:

Diagnose and locate cable faults and replace or repair Telecommunications cables
Hand dig holes and trenches
Frequently use tools such as shovels
Complete landscaping restoration work
Aid with general site preparation and clean-up as directed
Safely load and unload vehicles with supplies and equipment as directed
Run gas and power equipment (i.e., saws, drills, jumping jacks)
Assist with the removal of debris from work sites
Assist with traffic control as directed
Assess work environment for potential health and safety hazards
Solve problems and perform well under pressure and time constraints
Complete other duties as required

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

Construction or landscaping industry experience - buried utilities or telecommunications/fiber experience strongly preferred
Experience driving a mini-excavator and trenching strongly preferred
Must have a valid Driver's License. A CDL would be considered an asset.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions year long
Must be able to work on weekends and overtime when required
Must be proficient in internet and email usage, and able to learn new software quickly
Good verbal command of the English Language and great communication skills
Must be able to safely lift 80 lbs.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Well-groomed and maintain continued professional appearance and demeanor
Must maintain prompt and consistent attendance to include arrival times for work on job assignments
Must be willing to complete an online criminal record check to the company's satisfaction
