Description

The City of Richmond Department of General Services is seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position of HVAC Mechanic in the Facilities Management Division. The incumbent is responsible for cleaning and performing preventative maintenance on HVAC & Refrigeration equipment; performs scheduled inspections of HVAC & Refrigeration equipment; troubleshoots, repairs, installs, and replaces new HVAC & refrigeration equipment; responds to environmental comfort calls, prepares and completes work orders. Scheduled work hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm however, the incumbent may be required to work beyond scheduled hours and weekends as required.
