Traveling Concrete Superintendent

Job Description

This role is a traveling superintendent role for a company that is preparing to do concrete work on data center projects, although after the data center projects are complete the travling team will remain together; this is NOT a traveling conctract position.

As a Traveling Concrete Superintendent, you will be responsible for monitoring production, schedule, and performance across various construction sites. Your role involves assisting with coordination aspects as directed by the Project Manager, conducting safety audits, and ensuring contractor quality control and safety adherence. You will ensure contractors complete work on schedule while addressing warranty issues, and communicate daily project status to the Project Manager to maintain timely completion and compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production, schedule, and performance.
• Assist with coordination aspects as directed by the Project Manager.
• Conduct safety audits and assist with contractor quality control and safety at construction locations.
• Ensure contractors complete work on schedule while fulfilling warranty issues.
• Communicate daily status of current projects to the Project Manager.
• Maintain 100% 'Safety Standards and Accountability' in all areas or mandatory/regulatory requirements.
• Take necessary action when behaviors or conditions may be unsafe.
• Report and address all potential safety concerns, incidents, and issues promptly.
• Certify that all submittals are in compliance with contract requirements.
• Review plans and specifications to ensure requirements are met for each construction process.
• Review all catalog cuts and material submittals for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Ensure effective and timely preventive and corrective actions are taken.

• Construction management skills.
• Concrete construction expertise.
• Must have at least 2 years of direct or self-perform concrete supervision experience.
• Commercial/Industrial project experience.
• Construction Superintendent experience.

This position involves traveling to various construction sites, requiring flexibility and adaptability to different environments and project conditions. The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $135000.00/yr.

Willing to pay signing bonus, pay for lodging, per diem. Full medical, dental, vision insurnace.
