Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduler to support planning and coordination efforts across maintenance and project execution activities. This role is essential for aligning maintenance planning and operations related to transmission systems and nuclear assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong scheduling and analytical skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate across technical and non-technical teams, including executives, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, and Power BI is highly desirable, along with 3-4 years of experience managing or supporting complex projects.

Responsibilities

Assist with the planning and development of work orders related to transmission activities for nuclear-related assets.

Lead scheduling and tracking for maintenance, compliance, and project progress at nuclear facilities.

Facilitate coordination between maintenance, planning, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Participate in event response efforts, including root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions.

Conduct and support work management planning meetings to ensure alignment on priorities and deadlines.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance execution and work management practices.

Communicate scheduling updates and priorities clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.

Maintain availability for attendance and emergency response duties, including extended work hours when required.

Desired Background

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related professional certification

Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification

Minimum 3 years of experience in any of the following areas:

Leading complex project execution

Operations in transmission systems, substations, or nuclear facilities

Maintenance of transformers, switchyards, or nuclear-related assets

Strong integrity and compliance skills

Competency in analytical thinking, communication, project/process management, and leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Business Administration or Engineering

Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher
