Plumbing Apprentice

ColonialWebb is seeking an energetic and driven Plumbing Apprentice to join our team in Charlottesville. Under the guidance of experienced Plumbing Mechanics, you will learn how to assemble, install, and repair complex commercial plumbing systems. In addition to on-the-job training, you will have an opportunity to apply for an apprenticeship and attend trade school to obtain your plumbing journeyman's license.

A day in the life:

Learn how to assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems for commercial projects

Work under a experienced Plumber to learn about change-outs, retrofits, and installation of commercial plumbing and hydronic systems

You should have:

Some knowledge of the plumbing industry coupled with a willingness and desire to learn more

Completion of (or currently completing) plumbing trade school (preferred, not required)

Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.

Ability to communicate effectively and deal diplomatically with coworkers and other tradespeople

Maintain a positive attitude and willing to work in a team environment
