Business Development Manager - North Texas

Job Summary:
Construction is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in new and existing markets across the Southeastern U.S. This role will create and execute a measurable strategy and sales plan to promote construction services in multiple market sectors. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader andmunicator, able to leveragepany resources to support overall business development goals, and willing to travel as needed.
The position includes but is not limited to performing the following sales, client, and business development attributes:
Author a detailed, targeted and measurable business development plan. Execute the plan and adjust as necessary as market conditions fluctuate. Support will be provided from the entire business development and marketing teams.
Oversee and direct strategy for new business development creation in the power market sector. Track efforts and return on investment against spend and time spent. Cultivation of new business opportunities and strategies as agreed upon with the business development team.
Organize andmunicate customer relationship management (CRM) and sales efforts through our AEC360 CRM platform.
Research and prioritize potential new business opportunities through market research.
Conduct market research to determine the health of the market to stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the power sector, positioning thepany as a thought leader
Attend and participate in networkinganizations and events such as tradeshows, conferences, etc.
Create proposals and presentations with the support of the Vice President of Business Development and marketing team
Provide advice, liaison, and planning to prospective and current clients
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, developers, utilities, independent power producers (IPPs), and other stakeholders in the power sector. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding their needs and positioning our solutions effectively
Assist operations and various departments with sales process and final close to meet client's needs and expectations

Other related duties as needed and assigned by Management in support of the successfulpletion of the project.

Qualifications:
An undergraduate university degree or higher (preferably in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration)
Other relevant education, training, or work experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry or planning and implementing business development strategies.
Deep understanding of the market, including key players, technologies, regulatory frameworks, and market drivers.
