Key Responsibilities
Lead estimating deliverables for entire projects in coordination with senior preconstruction and operations teams
Develop conceptual cost estimates and budgets with clear documentation of assumptions
Coach and mentor a team of estimators to deliver accurate, competitive bids
Review project plans, requirements, and specifications to ensure comprehensive cost coverage
Develop cost models, track labor and material trends, and identify project risks
Collaborate with owners, design teams, and subcontractors to align estimates with project goals
Support presentations and scope review meetings as needed
Contribute ideas for value management to optimize project budgets
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
5-10 years of relevant estimating experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Proficiency with on-screen take-off and estimating software tools
Ability to estimate multiple facility types and delivery methods
Strong industry relationships and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and partners
