Description:

Carpenter Helper Job Responsibilities:

Assist with framing, drywall, flooring, and cabinet installation

Set up and break down ladders, scaffolding, and work platforms

Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment at job sites

Clean and maintain work areas and handle debris removal

Measure and cut materials as directed

Transport materials and supplies across the job site

Follow instructions from lead carpenter and supervisor to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently

Maintain tools and equipment in good working order

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and job site protocols

Qualifications:

Carpenter Helper Job Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Reliable transportation to and from job sites

Ability to lift up to 100lbs and work in physically demanding conditions

Ability to pass a drug screen

General knowledge of construction materials and safe work practices

Experience assisting with interior remodeling or finish work is a plus

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments

Willingness to take on new tasks and respond to feedback
