FINISHED CARPENTRY HELPERMonday - Friday6:30 am - 3:00 pm$19.00 per hour ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Gathering and transporting materials to the work area. Cleaning and preparing the work area, including removing debris and setting up tools and equipment. Holding materials in place while they are being fastened, securing scaffolding, and helping with the installation of various components. Assisting carpenters by handing them tools, ensuring they have what they need, and maintaining the tools. Working under the direction of a carpenter or project manager, understanding and executing tasks as instructed. Performing tasks like drilling, cutting, and sanding, as well as assisting with the installation of drywall, doors, windows, and trim. Following safety protocols, ensuring the work area is safe, and reporting any hazards. Keeping the work area clean and organized, including sweeping, removing waste, and disposing of materials. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Familiarity with hand and power tools, basic measuring and cutting techniques. Understanding and executing tasks as directed by carpenters or supervisors. Working effectively with others and collaborating to complete projects. Understanding and adhering to safety regulations and protocols. Strong mathematical skills.Must have a strong attention to detail.Able to climb ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, and walk/stand for long periods of time.Able to lift 50 lbs. individually, or up to 100 lbs. as a team lift.
