What you will do:
Gather plan specifications and documents
Participate in project pre-bid meetings and site visits
Collaborate with key personnel to discover and evaluate new business opportunities
Grow key vendor database and establish long-term relationships
Secure the best value/pricing while remaining aware of market trends
Obtain and review vendor and sub-tier bids forpliance andpleteness
Evaluate and address potential risks while assessing labor and material needs
Manage job transitions to operations and offer ongoing internal support throughout the job lifecycle
Utilize construction software proficiently to create exceptional, professional work within established deadlines
What you will need to be successful:
Extensive understanding of the National Electrical Code, construction details, calculations, and building products
5+ years of experience in electrical construction estimating for advancedmercial design/build proficiency
Strong leadership, planning, and critical thinking skills
A valid driver's license and acceptable insurability to drive for thepany
