Job Description
A leading construction company is seeking a Project Manager to oversee residential pool construction projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, solution-driven professional with strong communication skills and hands-on construction experience. Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, the new leader will drive project excellence by coordinating subcontractors, ensuring schedule and budget adherence, and delivering high-quality customer experiences while upholding safety, compliance, and workmanship standards.

Responsibilities:
Oversee all subcontractors throughout each assigned project, monitoring progress to ensure adherence to approved plans and contracts.
Provides thorough communication daily regarding construction and scheduling with the schedulers and the subcontractors, ensuring the schedule is maintained on a timely basis (weather permitting).
Communicate daily with Schedulers and Subcontractors to ensure construction is on schedule (weather permitting).
Provide ongoing customer communication throughout each phase of construction.
Lay out all pools within 72 hours of receiving plans and obtain signed layout approval from the customer.
Ensure work areas are clear of furniture, plants, and other personal property before construction begins; request customer removal as needed (we are not responsible for moving personal items).
Upload photos of each construction phase to the scheduling system within 48 hours of completion.
Submit all contractor-related paperwork within 48 hours of work completion.
Protect the work areas exposed from weather conditions by covering them with plastic at the end of each workday.
Confirm customer availability for scheduled work no more than 48 hours in advance; under-promise and over-deliver - avoid promising work beyond that timeframe.
Meet with the customer at each draw collection phase to perform walk-throughs and ensure satisfaction.
Collect payments due at each phase in accordance with company policy.
Ensure no outstanding balances exist beyond the final agreed payment before scheduling deck pour.
Verify all Construction and Warranty Work Orders meet quality standards and are completed in a timely manner.
Conduct a pre-plaster walk-through with the client, collect all monies due, and document any punch list items; plaster will not be scheduled until all items are resolved.
Draft and obtain approval/signature for any necessary job addendums; collect full payment at the time of signing and report changes to the Scheduler.
Assist the Sales Department with design questions as needed.
Attend all required Construction and Company meetings.
Develop a detailed action plan for resolving any construction issues within 48 hours.
Document all construction issues with photographs and upload them to the scheduling system along with related work orders.
Strive to exceed the projected timeline provided to clients by a minimum of 3 days.
Requirements:
High school diploma required; 2 years of college or specialized construction training preferred
Prior construction or service experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Effective, professional communication in English (Spanish is a plus but not required)
Strong independent work ethic and problem-solving ability
Valid driver's license
Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly
Requires climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting
Must be able to communicate clearly with customers and team members
Must be able to hear and understand verbal instructions and communicate detailed information
Visual acuity is necessary for reading plans, operating equipment, and performing skilled tasks
Must work in outdoor conditions without weather protection
Must be able to work in extreme heat (100F+) for extended periods
Exposed to physical hazards including moving equipment, vehicles, and electrical sources
