Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local manufacturing company is looking for a Welder/Fabricator
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform scarfing and dual shield welding on various metal components.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications.
Fabricate, modify, and repair metal parts and structures.
Use hand and power tools, welding equipment, and cutting torches safely and efficiently.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety procedures and shop regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Proven experience as a Fabricator, with expertise in scarfing and dual shield welding.
Ability to work in a repair shop environment, handling various metal components.
Proficiency with welding equipment, hand tools, and fabrication machinery.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor as needed.
Understanding safety protocols and best practices.
