Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee facility management activities in an automotive manufacturing environment to support company goals. Inspect utility equipment and facilities to identify potential issues such as wear, misalignment, or defective parts. Maintain and repair utility equipment, including air compressors, HVAC units, piping, chillers, cooling towers, and generators. Manage mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components of utility generation systems. Respond to maintenance requests and service calls, troubleshooting issues and providing solutions. Plan and coordinate scheduled and shutdown maintenance tasks. Document maintenance activities, including equipment failures and repairs. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers. Communicate regularly with production engineers. Prepare for audits and quality inspections. Budget & Spare Parts Management: Oversee the purchasing, distribution, and inventory control of maintenance materials, tools, and supplies. Qualifications & Preferences: Minimum Requirements: 3+ years of experience in mechanical facility management in an automated plant. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical system drawings. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in mechanical facility management in the U.S. automotive industry. Mechanical or electrical certifications. Experience with equipment installation, including design studies, paperwork, inspections, and testing of new or modified systems.
