Electrician - Direct Hire

Dothan, AL | Full-Time | Commercial & Industrial Electrical Work

Sirius Staffing is seeking a dependable and motivated Electrician for a direct hire opportunity in Dothan, AL. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson ready to grow in the exciting and rapidly evolving field of Building Automation and Controls, while performing hands-on commercial and industrial electrical work.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, components, and equipment

Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals

Bend and install conduit (EMT, IMC, Rigid); threading rigid conduit is a major plus

Perform preventative maintenance and ensure systems run safely and efficiently

Collaborate with project teams and other trades to meet deadlines

Maintain a clean and safe job site, following all safety standards

Learn and grow in the Building Automation and Controls field

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent

3+ years of experience as a commercial or industrial electrician (5+ preferred)

Proficiency in conduit bending and installation

Experience with threading rigid conduit is a major plus

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and construction documents

Familiarity with NEC and industry best practices

Experience using standard electrical tools and testing equipment

Self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Journeyman or Master Electrician license (preferred)
