General Laborer

Spherion is hiring a General Laborer in Monongahela to work Monday-Friday, daylight shift, making $17/hr! This position will utilize your manufacturing skills while maintaining full time employment with a local company growing their team.

Work with other team members to ensure production is assembled, sampled and analyzed per warehouse instruction along with using any manufacturing, hand tools and/or forklifts would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Work on assembly line to assemble products
• Collect stone samples and analyze them through the lab
• Keep track of samples and test results using Excel
• Operate within a warehouse or manufacturing facility setting to ensure smooth production
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist in various tasks
• Safely operate equipment
• Use hand tools to fabricate components or assist in assembly
• Follow safety protocols at all times
• Ensure clean working environment

Education: High School

Experience: 6 months

• Prior experience in an assembly line or manufacturing environment is preferred
• Familiarity with using hand tools and forklifts is a plus
• Ability to fabricate components or assist in mechanical tasks is a plus
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations within a factory setting is beneficial
