Project Architect

Responsibilities

• Manages key phases of architectural projects, applying technical knowledge to healthcare, higher education, corporate office, and science & technology projects
• Coordinates and supports project teams, reviewing and guiding work produced by internal and external team members
• Conducts reviews of code analysis, material selections, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Supports production of construction documents and contributes to BIM model management
• Participates in client meetings, communicating effectively with clients and consultants to meet project objectives
• Works closely with Project Manager(s) to execute projects per workplans, proposing minor adjustments as needed
• Ensures project scope is delivered efficiently and meets technical standards
• Advocates for high-quality design, encouraging innovative solutions within the team
• Contributes to improving documentation processes to reduce risk and supports mentorship of junior staff

Job Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture
• Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure
• 5 years of experience in an architectural firm, with demonstrated work in healthcare, higher education, corporate offices, and/or science & technology projects
• Ability to manage design, documentation, and construction administration tasks
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with emerging leadership abilities
• Sound judgment in decision-making
• Proficient in Revit
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and SketchUp

A generous salary $75,000 - $100,000 and benefits package will be provided. Remote hybrid work schedule. Local to NYC must have the ability to get to the office on occasion, get to client meetings, etc.
