Summary
AIM World Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The incumbent will use a variety of tools, testing instruments, and equipment to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of electrical trade functions for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Install and repair electrical equipment including but not limited to: generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, and conduit systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts, and other technical documents to ensure accurate installations and repairs.
- Diagnose malfunctions and identify electrical issues in existing systems and equipment.
- Compute load requirements and perform standard calculations for electrical components and systems.
- Utilize electrician's hand tools, measuring devices, and diagnostic instruments
- Troubleshoot and evaluate electrical systems, ensuring safety and code compliance.
- Complete all assigned work efficiently and accurately, while adhering to all safety procedures, SOPs, and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned, including incidental work in other trades as required.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four (4) years of electrical maintenance experience
- Proficient in reading blueprints , bending conduit, and troubleshooting AC/DC systems.
- Strong understanding of transformers, switchgear, motors, and control circuits
- Ability to work on equipment located at varying heights.
- Must obtain and maintain required certifications , including explosives certification if assigned to ordnance operations.
- Possess and maintain standard hand tools for the trade.
- Ability to meet physical demands, including respirator use and working in various environmental conditions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for team-based work.
- Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or vocational program in electrical work.
- Prior experience working in government, defense, or industrial environments
- Knowledge of federal safety regulations and electrical codes.
Working Conditions
- May be required to work indoors/outdoors , at heights, or in confined spaces.
- May include exposure to loud environments , dust, heat, or hazardous materials with proper PPE.
- Regular lifting, climbing, standing, and other physical demands associated with electrical maintenance work.
