The Senior Director of Region Contract Sales will be responsible for leading a team of experienced sale professionals covering the Southcentral Region (comprised of state of Texas). The Senior Director will own the P & L and be responsible for developing operational plans and strategies that will execute the business priorities. The Senior Director will also be responsible for leading a team of 17 direct reports focusing on talent development, regional cost control, and creating and maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the Region. This role requires heavy cross functional partnerships and the ability to adapt to process and system evolution. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Executive Leadership

  • Develops and executes local market strategies

  • Approve all pricing plans initiated or modified for the Region.

  • Work closely with VP of Contract on Region/Account plans.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of national sales strategy, and associated tactics

  • Develop Region goals to achieve/exceed share, margin, and price targets.

Customer Focus

  • Grow, develop, and maintain customer relationships across all segments (Multi-Family, Single Family, Authorized Builder Distributors, Apartment Replacement Distributors, among others)

People Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 17 direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting professional growth.

  • Drive team engagement and accountability through regular 1:1s, performance conversations, and clear goal setting aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Manage team capacity, workflow, and resource planning to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality results across multiple functions or projects.

  • Recruit, onboard/train, retain and manage the Southcentral field sales team. To include responsible for performance management including compensation, rewards, recognition, feedback, and talent development.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales Operations, Product Lines, Logistics, Support teams, Finance and HR to drive alignment, streamline processes, and achieve shared business objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across departments to support strategic initiatives, resolve challenges, and promote a culture of collaboration.

Communication & Change Management

  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills by clearly conveying goals, updates, and feedback across all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment and transparency.

  • Lead change initiatives with confidence, effectively managing transitions by communicating impact, building stakeholder buy-in, and supporting team adaptability through periods of transformation.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • 12+ years of relevant commercial/sales experience

  • Proven Sales Management and Marketing experience

  • Extensive experience in the appliances industry

  • Demonstrated knowledge of GE Appliances Contract Channel

  • Previous people management experience with the ability to train, develop, and motivate a sales team

  • Exemplary leadership and coaching skills

  • Proven analytical skills with strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work well and influence cross-functionally (e.g., marketing, sales, R&D)

  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple competing priorities

  • Self-starter with solid energy, high motivation, and proven customer focus

  • Driving is an essential duty of the job; candidates must have a valid drivers license

  • Significant travel required, including some overnight; candidate must be willing to live within the region

  • Preferred home office location in Dallas/Fort Worth area to best cover the Southcentral territory

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters in Business Administration or Post Graduate degree.
