The Marketing Operations Manager at Perficient plays a key role in driving operational excellence across the marketing team. This position partners closely with marketing leadership and project managers to streamline workflows, enhance execution of strategies, and implement process improvements. The role involves tracking performance metrics to evaluate campaign success and inform resource allocation, leveraging tools like Salesforce and AI to boost efficiency, and supporting large-scale initiatives through project management. Additionally, the manager oversees budget tracking, fosters cross-functional collaboration, and provides administrative leadership to ensure the team operates smoothly and effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The Marketing Operations Manager works alongside marketing leadership and project managers to drive the operational and administrative objectives of the team forward, ensuring smooth workflows, efficient execution of marketing strategies and process improvements overall
  • Works with colleagues to establish, document and track key performance metrics for reporting on the success of marketing investments and campaigns; provides point of view on resource and cost allocation based on ROI tracking so the team can pivot to more effective tactics
  • Leverages knowledge of systems, platforms and other parts of the business to introduce efficiency gains including project management tools, AI and integrations with Salesforce and other marketing platforms; strives to integrate wherever possible
  • Provides project management support for large scale initiatives across the organization
  • Identifies opportunities to make connections across the marketing organization
  • Supports budget development and management, tracking programmatic and agency expenses and helps to hold teams and vendors accountable for delivering on scope of work opposite spend commitments
  • Forms relationships internally across the firm to collaborate, bring information back to the team that would be meaningful to strategy and to proactively share enhancements being driven by the Marketing team
  • General administrative leadership (e.g. support planning large team meetings, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong organizational and time management skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools: Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, workflow and analytics tools.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to marketing challenges.
  • Tenacious: Curiosity for finding a better way and seeking to striving for better outcomes that help realize the teams goals.
  • Experience in marketing or administration: Previous experience in a marketing or administrative role.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field: A bachelor's degree is often preferred, though not always required.
  • Proficient in leveraging AI technologies to drive innovation, support strategic initiatives, and enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and ethical considerations.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $57,118 to $101,500. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
