Position Overview:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our team, responsible for coordination with vendors, project managers, electrical design, electrical installing supervision and troubleshooting throughout the United States. This role requires particular experience with and expertise in electrical systems and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Travel will vary but can be up to 20%. There will be weekends involved at times. For times when you are working on extended trips, commensurate time off will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Design: Create detailed plans and specifications for electrical systems. Explore new applications of electrical solutions to upgrade and optimize our solutions.
- Field Installation: Oversee the installation of electrical systems, including wiring, calibrating sensors, VFDs, motors and start up.
- Documentation: Prepare technical reports and system documentation.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical issues by interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and utilizing diagnostic tools to ensure quick and effective repairs.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with sales, engineering and project management to support electrical system installations, preparation work ensuring all work aligns with project timelines and specifications.
- Training: Provide firsthand technical support to field personnel on electrical systems operation.
- Safety: Strictly follow safety procedures and adhere to regulatory standards while working in various environments, ensuring a safe workplace for all team members.

Who You will Work With:
- Project Manager - They oversee projects from sale to handover, ensuring tasks are being completed within budget and ensuring timely delivery.
- Project Coordinators - They will arrange the logistics for each project making sure equipment arrives in the right place at the right time.
- Customers - You will interface with plant management and sometime the customer&s corporate project management or corporate engineers.
- Contract labor - You will aid in directing customers subcontracted electricians to identify what we need to start up and operate our equipment as it was sold.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 5 years of experience as an electrical engineer or similar.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or AutoCAD electrical.
- Able to program Rockwell and Siemens PLCs.
- Knowledge of, or experience with, variable frequency drive system and motor controls.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting electrical and control systems in industrial settings.
- Ability to travel and work independently or as part of a team in diverse locations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and best practices in industrial environments.
