**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled machine operator who will be responsible for setting up machines, changing tools, and troubleshooting. The role includes data input both on the computer and operating specifications such as size and length for cutting across various machines including 15 press machines, 1 crimping machine, 1 splice machine, and 2 large cutting machines.

**Responsibilities**

+ Set up machines and change tools as required.

+ Input data specifications on computer systems and machines.

+ Troubleshoot machines by addressing breakdowns and making measurement adjustments using millimeter metrics and conversion knowledge.

+ Assist production in manual assembly tasks.

+ Read and interpret electrical blueprints.

+ Perform preventive maintenance on machines.

+ Troubleshoot mechanical issues.

+ Use basic math skills to understand conversion between metric and standard measurements.

+ Read a tape measurer accurately.

**Essential Skills**

+ Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.

+ Competency in preventive maintenance practices.

+ Computer skills with willingness to be trained on using SAP and Baptec.

+ Technical aptitude and ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience working with wiring, presses, cutting, and crimping machines.

+ Reliable, honest, and driven.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
