**Job description:**
As a Senior Project Manager, Patient Engagement and Recruitment, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end implementation of Citelines Patient Engagement and Recruitment product suite for high-priority clients and strategic initiatives. This includes oversight of multiple complex projects and ensuring the delivery of solutions that drive customer success and internal alignment. You will operate as a senior leader within the PER Operations team, reporting to the Director of Delivery, and act as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders across Commercial, Product, Technical, and Support teams.
This role demands a blend of clinical research expertise, operational excellence, and executive presence to guide teams and clients through successful delivery. You will play a key role in advancing the maturity of delivery practices within the organization and be a trusted voice in refining internal processes, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to strategic growth initiatives.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Own and lead the successful implementation of Citelines Patient Engagement and Recruitment solutions, including patient-facing websites and clinical trial recruitment platforms, with a focus on complex or enterprise-level engagements.
+ Oversee all aspects of project deliveryfrom scoping and kickoff to execution and post-launch supportensuring milestones are met, risks are mitigated, and clients remain engaged and informed.
+ Act as a senior point of contact and trusted advisor to clients throughout implementation, building long-term relationships and driving satisfaction and retention.
+ Lead governance meetings, executive readouts, and client workshops; provide strategic insight and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
+ Serve as a key escalation point for at-risk projects and provide guidance to resolve delivery roadblocks or competing priorities.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Product, Data, Technical Services, Sales, and Support) and Norstellas broader business units to ensure delivery success and continuous improvement of our solutions.
+ Ensure all work complies with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., IRB, EC, GCP) and data privacy standards.
+ Mentor junior project managers and contribute to training, process optimization, and resource planning initiatives.
+ Support the Patient Engagement and Recruitment leadership team in meeting annual delivery targets and advancing operational goals.
+ Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance delivery methodology, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
**Qualifications and experience:**
+ 5+ years of experience in project management in a CRO, biopharmaceutical, clinical trial, or healthcare technology environment; strong preference for candidates with prior CRO or sponsor-side experience.
+ Demonstrated success leading large-scale, cross-functional projects with strategic importance or complexity.
+ Experience managing client engagements, including executive-level communication, project roadmap development, and risk mitigation.
+ Deep understanding of clinical trial operations, patient recruitment strategies, regulatory requirements (IRB/EC), and GCP standards.
+ Proficiency in project management tools and strong technical skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and data interpretation/wrangling.
+ Familiarity with real-world data (RWD), healthcare data systems, and digital patient engagement technologies.
+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.
+ PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
