Maintenance Electrician**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for completing equipment installations and scheduled or unscheduled repairs using standard methods. This role involves working with blueprints, schematics, sketches, manuals, and verbal or written instructions to carry out job assignments. You will assist in inspecting electrical systems in buildings and make recommendations for repairs and modifications. Additionally, you will install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
**Responsibilities**
+ Diagnose and replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, printed circuit boards, switches, and motors.
+ Adjust mechanical parts as necessary and operate control systems, teach pendants, and programmable controllers to program and test automated machinery.
+ Align, adjust, and calibrate equipment according to specifications.
+ Document work and record equipment changes.
+ Complete specific preventative and predictive maintenance duties such as cleaning, inspecting, replacing, adjusting, lubricating, and measuring on assigned equipment.
+ Work closely with equipment operators to troubleshoot and maintain high levels of operating efficiency.
+ Collaborate with OEM technical support and requisition supplies, parts, and equipment.
+ Record appropriate equipment information concerning repairs and performance.
+ Share responsibility for repairing and maintaining the facility with other maintenance technicians.
+ Assist other Technical Services team members on assigned projects and attend meetings or respond to requests in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor or team leader.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and electronics.
+ Attention to detail and quality skills.
+ Basic math skills and technical savvy.
**Work Environment**
The work environment includes collaborating closely with equipment operators and OEM technical support. You will be working with automated machinery, control systems, and programmable controllers. The role involves both individual and team responsibilities, requiring effective communication and collaboration with other maintenance technicians.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
