Short Description:

• Maintenance Mechanic 3 is an experienced and highly skilled tradesman. This individual should have extensive knowledge of plumbing and mechanical systems, advanced problem-solving abilities, and the capability to lead projects and mentor other Maintenance Mechanic positions. A Maintenance Mechanic 3 is responsible for overseeing complex installations, repairs, and maintenance of utility systems. This position assists in recommending policies, procedures, and objectives of all utilities equipment testing and maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the installation, repair, and maintenance of infrastructure systems. This includes all plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections, of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Interpret and create blueprints and building specifications for plumbing layouts.
• Collaborate with contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals to ensure proper installation of utility systems.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve complex plumbing problems.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior mechanics.
• Respond to emergency plumbing calls and provide timely and effective solutions.
• Assesses equipment performance and operation appraisals of plumbing and mechanical systems to ensure appropriate preventive maintenance is provided.

Job Qualifications:

Experience Minimum of 5 years of relevant healthcare experience.

Education: Hight School Diploma

Skills and Abilities: Ability to use independent judgement, diplomacy, initiative, ingenuity, memory for details, organizational skills, and verbal and written communication is needed.
