We're seeking a skilled Concrete Carpenter to join our team for a high-impact infrastructure project in Colorado Springsa transfer station featuring three towering concrete walls (22 feet high) and robust footers. Responsibilities Construct vertical concrete walls and pour footers to specification Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Install and tie rebar for reinforced concrete structures Cut, shape, and assemble forms using hand and power tools Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and project quality benchmarks Collaborate with supervisors and fellow tradespeople to meet deadlines Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free worksite Qualifications Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in vertical concrete formwork Familiarity with Symons or similar forming systems preferred Ability to read blueprints and construction specifications Strong understanding of OSHA safety protocols and general construction practices Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and working in variable weather conditions Work Environment Outdoor construction site with exposure to the elements Fast-paced, physically demanding environment Strong focus on teamwork, safety, and craftsmanship Why Join Us Be part of a high-profile infrastructure build Real opportunity for long-term or permanent employment Supportive team culture that values reliability and skill Competitive pay with room to grow Employment Type Contract-to-Hire - Initial 3-month term with strong potential for extension or permanent placement based on performance.
