Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer Location: Yuba City, CA (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ Months Contract-to-Hire

Summary: Reporting to the IT Manager, the Senior Infrastructure Engineer designs, implements, and maintains secure, scalable enterprise infrastructure. Key technologies include VMware virtualization, Dell/EMC storage, Citrix, Active Directory, Office 365, and LAN/WAN networking. The role involves leading infrastructure projects, optimizing system performance, and ensuring compliance with security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise infrastructure solutions.

• Administer VMware, Dell/EMC storage (SAN/NAS), Citrix, Active Directory, and Office 365.

• Maintain LAN/WAN architecture with redundancy, scalability, and security.

• Implement DLP policies and data-centric security measures.

• Collaborate with security, compliance, and application teams.

• Perform capacity planning, performance analysis, and project leadership.

• Provide mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 7+ years in infrastructure engineering or systems administration.

• Expertise in VMware, Citrix, Dell/EMC storage, Windows/Linux admin, Active Directory, Office 365, and network storage.

• Knowledge of LAN/WAN design, hybrid cloud (Azure/AWS), scripting (PowerShell/Python), and monitoring tools (SolarWinds, etc.).

• Strong understanding of enterprise security, DLP, and regulatory compliance.

• Preferred certifications: MCSE, VMware VCP, Citrix CCE-V.

• Experience in financial services infrastructure a plus.

Work Environment:

• Office-based hybrid schedule.

• Light lifting up to 25 lbs; prolonged computer use.
