Electrical Engineer position with Elite Technical

Our client, a leading federal defense contractor has a long-term contract opening for an Electrical Engineer in their Florham Park, NJ location. As an Electrical Engineer, you'll be part of a cross-functional team responsible for design, integration, and test. As an engineer on our client's team, you would have the opportunity to gain broad electrical design experience and gain mentorship from others with decades of background in multiple technical disciplines.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these skills or experiences: Analog and mixed-signal circuit analysis, including Hyperlynx (PI and SI) and LTSpice, high-voltage regulator design and associated design rules and digital backplane design (e.g., 3U VPX) in compliance with VITA / SOSA specifications

- Due to the nature of work performed, U.S. citizenship is required.
- Requires active DoD Secret clearance
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
- Proficient in electrical engineering circuit card design and mixed Signal circuit analysis
- Habitually ahead of technology trends, with background in test, troubleshooting
- Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
- Research & Development experience including concept, design, modeling, prototyping, and testing
- Collaborative team player committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
