Electrical Superintendent Conventional Power
Location: Project location TBD (requires mobilization to site)
Initial Phase: 6 months of project planning based in Kansas City
Per Diem: $132.12/day (non-taxed) while in Kansas City; $173/day (taxed) at project site
Preferred Experience: Union or union management; electrical superintendent experience in conventional power projects
Key Responsibilities:

Partner with the Construction Manager to ensure compliance with safety, quality, ethics, lessons learned, and performance standards across site operations.

Monitor construction activities for compliance with CPM schedules, tracking milestones and commodity installations.

Collaborate with craft teams, subcontractors, and other superintendents to resolve drawing, schedule, quality, and cost issues.

Lead productivity tracking, cost reporting, and progress analysis, taking corrective action to meet targets.

Develop and maintain 3-Week Look Ahead schedules, ensuring required resources are available.

Manage subcontractor performance, compliance, and relationships; coordinate extra work requests and contractor information responses.

Oversee work package execution, major equipment installations, job hazard analyses, and punch list completion.

Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management to direct reports.
Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 10 years in industrial construction, including large-scale electrical systems.

Proficiency in budgets, scheduling, work package planning, and crew management (50+ union craft).

Experience with large electrical equipment installations (PDC, GSU, UAT, ISO Phase), cable management, and terminations.

Strong knowledge of union agreements, labor relations, EPC/subcontract contracts, and construction standards.

OSHA 10 certification (minimum); OSHA 40 preferred.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, climb ladders/scaffolding, and perform physical labor for extended shifts.

Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions, variable lighting, and around hazardous equipment.
Education:

Degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.

Training in contract administration, cost control, industrial relations, safety, and quality management desirable.

Minimum 3 years as a Superintendent on similar projects in a supervisory role.
